The chapel of the Madeleine is located at the top of a hill of the same name of 795 meters of altitude. It is accessible on foot, via a pathway, or by road. From the summit you will enjoy a breathtaking view across the Pyrenees, including the local peaks of Orhy, Annie, Midi d'Ossau , and further afield the peak of Midi de Bigorre and the hills of Haute-Soule. It deserves a visit for the brightness of its stained glass windows and its beautifully crafted wooden interior. The establishment of a place of worship in this location is linked to the passage of pilgrims from Compostela in the Middle Ages.
