The building is a scheduled monument, which has served as a temporary exhibition and event space for Southampton Solent University since 2012. It is the impressive north entrance to the medieval section of Southampton, which contains a wealth of character and heritage through its fascinating remains, monuments and buildings. Situated by the high street and West Quay shopping centre, it’s a great landmark to see if you’re in the area.
