Fast Pay lets you receive your earnings faster. Once Airbnb releases your payout, the money is sent to your eligible Visa or Mastercard debit or reloadable prepaid card. You’ll receive the funds within 30 minutes—even on weekends and holidays.

How Fast Pay works

Fast pay is convenient and you can opt in or out at any time. To check if your debit or reloadable prepaid card is eligible, try adding it as a payout method. If it isn’t, you’ll be notified during signup.

Fast Pay works with:

• Visa or Mastercard debit cards that support instant pay services (ex: Visa Direct or Mastercard Send)
• Eligible Visa and Mastercard reloadable prepaid cards

Processing times may vary depending on your bank or region. Transfers are reviewed, and in some cases, reviews may result in payout holds or delays.

When to use Fast Pay for payouts

Fast Pay is ideal if:

• You want your earnings immediately, even outside banking hours
• You don’t mind the small fee for faster access (1.5% fee is deducted from each payout, with a maximum fee of $15 USD, tax included)
• You’re in the US (Fast Pay isn’t currently available outside the US)

Visa and Mastercard transaction limits

Both Visa and Mastercard have transaction limits. For the latest details, contact Visa or Mastercard directly.

Visa:

• Single transaction: $50,000 USD
• Daily limit: $100,000 USD (or 150 transactions)
• Weekly limit: $250,000 USD (or 250 transactions)
• Monthly limit: $500,000 USD (or 750 transactions)

Mastercard:

• Single transaction: $50,000 USD
• Monthly limit: $50,000 USD

If you expect a large payout that exceeds Visa or Mastercard’s transaction limits, use traditional bank transfers to avoid delays. To do this, set up a routing rule to split the payout in your payout preferences before confirming the booking.
