Due to a few problems we were not able to stay in the room booked so our host accommodated us in his own home. This was a very kind thing to do and something for which we were very grateful.
We enjoyed staying in Anderson Crescent. We were able to park our hire car in the back yard or in the street. The home is at the top of a rather steep hill so the view down over Derry was very good. It is close to a large Supermarket and to the Icon restaurant which has very good meals at a very reasonable price. It is also easy to get to the Crescent link that surrounds Derry.
The steep road up to the home would not suit people without some stamina but we initially walked transversely up the hill which made it easier, by the end of the 2 weeks we could go straight up.

We never met Chris or Liz, but were able to contact them through AirBnB to arrange a time to arrive at their airbnb property. The property is well located, but be aware that if you are planning on walking to and from Derry wall, there is a large hill you have to walk up; it was no problem for us, but if you have any disabilities I would suggest a cab. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean, however, we had to buy toilet paper, as it ran out part way through our stay. Other than having to time your shower around the other people staying at the house, everything was good and it is a great location to take in the city.
