Excellent hike very close to Seattle, with beautiful Northwest forest and a scenic river and waterfall. Hikeable year-round, but be prepared for mud if it's not summer. You will need a Discover day pass to park in the parking lot, available from a pay station in the lot.

Beautiful Hike one of my favorites! dog and family friendly, view points are gorgeous! $10 pass required, kiosk on sight, recommend early start parking lot is small and frills up fast, popular area.
