Practically everyone likes pizza. And while Philly has a plethora of pizzerias to choose from, one Philly pizza shop is so popular that the owners suggest you call ahead to reserve your dough! Tacconelli’s Pizzeria is definitely worth the wait. Made in a brick oven, the steaming hot pizzas are topped with lots of red sauce and a crunchy crust to die for.

BYOB!!! Must call that morning to reserve your dough for that night! Pizza is as close to real Italian pizza as you'll find in Philly!

This place is legendary as being one of the best pizza places in Philly. It's won many Best Of awards over the last 60+ years. You have to call ahead to reserve your pizzas as they often sell out. You can schedule a pickup or eat in. It's BYO, so you can bring your own beer or whatever.

Another gem a little drive north of here. Great for groups. You will need to call a few days before you want to go and order your dough. They only make so much. We order about 4 pies for 6 people.
