Το σπίτι που μεγάλωσε και δημιούργησε ο Γιαννούλης Χαλεπάς έχει μετατραπεί σήμερα σε μουσείο. Σαν να πηγαίνεις επίσκεψη σπίτι του, η παρουσία του είναι ακόμα έντονη. Τα προσωπικά του αντικείμενα, φωτογραφίες, ρούχα, σκεύη αλλά και το εργαστήριό του όπου έδινε ζωή στο μάρμαρο. Το μουσείο βρίσκεται δίπλα στην είσοδο του Πύργου, δίπλα από το Μουσείο Πανορμιτών Καλλιτεχνών. Τα 2 μουσεία έχουν κοινή τιμή εισόδου 3€ και στον προαύλιο χώρο με τα ολάνθιστα παρτέρια θα δείτε αγάλματα Τηνίων καλλιτεχνών. Ανοιχτό 11:00-14:30 και 17:30-21:00.

Exploring the well-preserved house – Giannoulis Chalepas museum a sense is created that Giannoulis has just left from his house though it’s been more than 70 years since he “left”. His clothes hanging on the hook, his personal belongings, his bedroom, his workshop, they all carry memories of the period (1902-1930) when the famous Greek sculptor lived in Pyrgos. His mind was frequently leading him into dangerous territories; Yet, without ever managing to limit his creativity. Some of the major projects of Chalepas, sketches and photographs complement the precious material of the museum General entrance: 3 Euros, Reduced: 1,5 Euros (common for Tinian Artists Museum, Pyrgos)

The Museum of Giannoulis Chalepas in Tinos is probably the most famous personality in Tinos. A notable marble scuplture artist known for its remarkable works and his tremulous life, Chalepas descents from an island with a rich tradition in sculpture and marble-processing. Today, Tinos the artist's birthplace, displays many workshops where young students learn how to work marble. The traditional house of Chalepas which is located in Pirgos village has been turned into a small museum with narrow rooms and beautiful garden.
