The Chilla Range of the Rajaji Tiger Reserve National Park is the most scenic of the game drives in the park. One has a very high chance of spotting the Asiatic Elephant in it natural habitat in this park. The elusive tiger is also present in the park and offers rare chances of spotting it. More than 200 species of birds are also found there. Jeeps can be booked at the park entrance and the afternoon game drive is recommended as it offers better sightings. The park remains closed from 15 June to 15 November each year.
