An easy, quick place to experience the Louisiana swamp from a car. There's also a place to rent watercraft and find fishing supplies.

Beautiful Nature Preserve great for kayaking, fishing, photography or a leisurely stroll. Home to many species of water birds, gorgeous cypress trees and native plants (the floating American Lotus are my favorite). If you're into photography this is a must see! Swamp tours and kayak rentals available on Rookery Rd. Oh and yes there are alligators too.
