The Historic Magnolia House was in the Greenbook and has been brought back into full service. It is beautiful. I took my Mom here for Mother's Day Brunch and had the shrimp and grits. We drank mimosas and ate dessert even though we didn't finish our brunch. It is a sweet memory I made with my Mom. If you love to experience history, this is a living artifact of Greensboro's recent past.

The Historic Magnolia House was a Green Book site that housed African American writers, actors, athletes, and musicians as they traveled south to perform during the Jim Crow era. You can stay the night in one of their four gorgeous guest suites. Also, Magnolia House offers a Sunday jazz brunch, so visitors can see the lovely, newly renovated interior of this historic location.
