Walking south on Burrard will take you to the Burrard St bridge, and to the East (left) of the bridge you'll find a stairway that will take you to False Creek (to the East, or left) and English Bay (to the West, or right)!

False Creek is a short inlet in the heart of Vancouver. It separates downtown from the rest of the city. It was named by George Henry Richards during his Hydrographic survey of 1856-63. George Richards named False Creek during his survey of the coast in the mid-19th century.
