These woody dunes near the Hague are beautiful but how to reach them without a car? Take your bike in the train (read how and when (not) in this guidebook!) and take the train to Den Haag Laan van Nieuw Oost Indie (NOI). Then it will be a very nice ride of half an hour to Meijendel.

The Meijendel Dunes stretche from The Hague to Wassenaar. Great place to hang out with kids. There are plenty of playgrounds and there is even a pancake restaurant.

Nice park with beautiful walking paths and it has several playing grounds.

Lovers of walking and cycling can't skip a visit tot Meyendel. It is a large dune landscape between Scheveningen and Wassenaar. End the day with a typical Dutch pancake at the pancake restaurant.
