Lovely town for exploring and shopping. Harbour, promenade, Jubilee outdoor pool, lots of cafes and pubs. Great alternative/hippy shops.

If you're looking for an evening out during your stay, Penzance has some great restaurants and bars, as well as the oldest (and possibly most charming) pub in Cornwall, the Turks Head, established in 1233.
