It’s a good hour drive out with no services beyond Tremonton. Great views of Great Salt Lake. Spiral Jetty changes colors in different seasons.

This outdoor sculpture is about 2 hours away, and requires some off-roading. But if you are into massive outdoor sculptures, and want to kill two birds and visit the Great Salt Lake (or kill three birds and also visit the Golden Spike National Monument) then this should be on your must-see list.

If you’re feeling adventurous and have a vehicle that will do well on dirt roads, I highly recommend checking out the Spiral Jetty. It’s historic land art made by the artist Robert Smithson. It likely will take an entire day to travel and see.

iconic landmark- a little out of the way but worth seeing!
