The park offers lovely picnic areas, a playground and walks including the famous rhododendron garde, MTB and BMX bike tracks.

A stunning drive over the hills and you will come to explore a great park in the heart of the peninsula. An hour hike to a waterfall amongst differing woodlands and bush, afterwards enjoy the colonial style tea rooms and other interests at the bottom of the park for refreshments and tranquility

Orton Bradley Park is a private 650ha rural property situated on the southern shores of Lyttelton Harbour open 365 days a year. A fantastic family friendly location, with large open spaces, fantastic sunsets, and park like settings. The picnic and camping area are situated in a sheltered setting surrounded by pastoral farming, amenity plantations, including arboretum, extensive rhododendron garden, and native forest. There are 15 km of walking tracks winding their way through the property, with the ability to link up to the track up Mt Herbert (the highest point on Banks Peninsula) and around to crater rim to Akaroa.
