The Newcastle Baths were opened in 1922 and are a local icon and institution for many Novocastrians. It is an easy 10minute walk, passing many cafes on your way. Even if you aren’t keen for a swim, it is still a lovely walk. Next to the baths is the Kids Ocean Pool. The baths are open all year round, subject to maintenance and cleaning. Until the end of 2020, the baths are closed each Wednesday morning for cleaning.
