Galveston is a beach about a 25 minute drive via I-45 South (Gulf Freeway). Park along the Seawall for a small parking fee and enjoy the beach. You can also visit the different shops, restaurants and bars on the historic Strand area. Check City of Galveston calendar for festivals, concerts, and events year round. You do not want to miss visiting Galveston!
