A 1.5 mile hike through alpine forest climbing above tree line for breathtaking views of surrounding mountains and Denver. A very rewarding and popular hike in all seasons. Parking alongside Hwy 103 across from trailhead at mile marker 18.

This one is also outside of Mt. Evans, near Echo Mountain. A little more than 4 miles roundtrip, it offers beautiful views and is great in the summer or winter for a snowshoe!

Great hike for travelers from out of state. Although it is only 3 miles round trip, expect the first half to be all uphill for the great views from the top. It is an all time favorite of ours and we always take our friends and family from out of town.
