A taste of Highland life in Glasgow! This is one of the Highland pubs I would visit to hear live music and get a taste of Highland and Island life when I miss it.

Pub food early evening but standing room only by 9pm (weekends anyway). Music comes in the form of bagpipes, dance band tunes from an accordion or folk songs (Thursday - Sunday). Traditional, casual friendly bar with authentic Scottish pub culture. See you down there!

Across the other side of the city in the west end of Glasgow, but definately worth a visit! Frequented by Gaelic speaking Highlanders, this pub often has traditional Scottish music and is in the heart of what is affectionately called the 'Teuchter Triangle', The Islay Inn and Ben Nevis Bar are nearby and are also worth a visit.
