I recommend reserving your ticket online prior to the day of cruise. But if you plan last minute , I’d still give it a try and see if you can go last minute.

...you can walk there at low tide. In fact, you can walk all the way around the island. I would not take a boat around the island because there is a sandbar to the west and rocks to the south.
