Amazing museum, Lourinhã is the dinosaur's capital, really nice to see specially if you have kids, they'll love it!

Lourinhã is a Jurassic hotspot! Although the main paleontology exhibition has been moved to the Dinosaur Park, there is still plenty to see here. The gift shop has a good assortment of dinosaur-related items. My personal favorites are copies of incredible artwork submitted to the museum's scientific illustration contest.

The museum has very complete exhibits of archaeology and ethnology, but the main focus of the museum is the palaeontology hall, which presents casts of famous dinosaurs, as well as fossils recovered from the Late Jurassic Lourinhã Formation.
