Riverside village starting point for many great walks. Inn Of The Sixth Happiness was filmed in the hills above, and Rupert Bear illustrator Alfred Bestall lived here. Visit the grave of Gelert the heroic dog who saved his masters heir from a wolf. Glaslyn ice cream delicious. Pubs, cafes and restaurants. Very busy in summer.

A picturesque stone-built village within the Snowdonia National Park and home to the legendary Gelert's Grave. Near to the start of the Watkin Path up to the summit of Snowdon.

Ideal for walking, Beddgelert is a place of legend, culture and history. The beautiful Aberglaslyn Pass and the Nant Gwynant Valley are near-by neighbours.

Lovely village with great ice cream parlour. Wonderful walks around lake and forest.

A lovely little village in the heart of Snowdonia. Visit the grave of Gelert the dog and walk along the fast flowing river and finish off with a tasty flapjack and coffee in Caffi Colwyn next to the National Trust Shop.
