Great place for families with a playground, BBQ facilities and close to beach. If tide is out and wind is low, the beach is a must with plenty of rock pools

Awesome playground located at Front beach, also at the start of a great walk along the fenceline up to the rip view car park, steps to the beach and pier and lighthouse.

Point Lonsdale frontbeach is a more family friendly calm beach (generally but not always!). There's a great playground for younger kids at the foreshore.
