Should try the local food opposite a temple there's a coffee shop. They serve local food such as asam laksa, kolo mee, and tang hoon soup. MUST TRY. in the later noon around 2pm they have pork satay.
Another interesting stretch here. Lots of kopi tiam ( local cafes without aircondition) and old shops selling local products, jewellery, bicycles and furniture. Directions: Walk left to main bazaar, then turn left at the main road or any of the small alleys into Carpenter Street. Approx. 10 mins.
Many local and street food along this street.Just a stone throw away from Threehouse.Coffee shop, cafe and bar are open day and night.
Old traditional shophouses. One of the oldest commercial streets in Kuching where carpenters from China settled in and plied their trade.
