Thirsk Museum is located a little further into town – in the building where Thomas Lord (who founded Lord’s Cricket Ground) was born. It is well worth a look inside to learn more about Thirsk and the surrounding area.

I love this place as it is like stepping back in time before interactive displays and technology overload.....
