A little further to the north in Tarbet you’ll find an excellent family run restaurant specialising in serving seafood caught by themselves. With excellent produce and views over the sea to Handa Island, it is definitely worth a visit. www.shorehousetarbet.co.uk

If you want fantastic fresh seafood and fish for lunch or early supper in a beautiful location and a spectacular drive to get there, this doesn't get any better. Their menu is simple, but they catch their own fish with their boat in the bay. The staff are really friendly and the outside views reflect the setting. Please note that this is quite a distance to get to, seasonal opening times only and booking is a must. Highly recommended.

Seafood cafe/ restaurant on the coast. Open 12:00-19:00 Monday to Friday and 12:00-15:00 on Saturday. Good place for a late lunch after visiting Handa Island, the restaurant is next to the ferry point and has outdoor seating in a sunny spot.
