Located at MGM Grand, the moment you set foot in Robuchon you are transported to a lush, peaceful and beautiful atmosphere, with plush velvet seating, a fire place and a patio covered in ivy. The décor was designed with a French art-deco townhouse in mind, and in this quiet and intimate environment you are “inspired to speak thoughtfully, take things a bit slower and savor every moment with all your senses,” says Forbes Travel Guide. The French cuisine at Robuchon is of the finest quality, but with a concept of simplicity at its core. Chef Joel Robuchon says, “To make a grand meal, you have to make it simple. To look simple is very complicated. You need the highest quality products, the best equipment and you have to keep your focus on the original flavor of the product”. When dining at Robuchon you are able to choose from a la carte selections, a prix fixe menu or a 16-course tasting menu (that’s right, we said 16 courses!) Bon appetite!

Conveniently located in the MGM by the KA theater is the number 4 or 5 rated restaurant in the USA. With sittings from $250 it is expensive but attainable. Be sure to check the hours. Next door is Joel Robuchon Atelier which is almost as good, open longer, more casual, and about half the price. I believe they perfect new creations here before moving them to the main restaurant.

This spot belongs together with sister restaurant L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon... since they sit side-by-side as only two of three dining establishments in the United States by late French chef Joël Robuchon. The eponymous location is a little more fancy and, yes, a little more expensive while L'Atelier is a slightly more casual alternative that proves eating at a counter can actually enhance the dining experience. Either choice provides carefully crafted multicourse seasonal menus and free-flowing Champagne, as well as house-made pastries and desserts. Both restaurants offer deceptively intimate, but very different, dining experiences. With everything in good hands under respective executive chefs Christophe De Lellis and Jimmy Lisnard, guests can celebrate Robuchon's legacy with truffled langoustine ravioli, quail stuffed with foie gras, and other signature dishes. Not to mention the best mashed potatoes in Las Vegas.
