Like many towns on the prairie, Claresholm was settled by homesteaders that came to the area with hope in their hearts and the promise of free land. Cattle and agriculture are fundamental to Claresholm to this day, but the town has flourished into a thriving business and recreational centre as well. Its 3,758 citizens enjoy a myriad of great services and facilities, and are happy to welcome visitors from all over to the town’s many attractions. History buffs will appreciate Claresholm’s connection to flight training. From 1941-45, the town was home to the Number 15 Service Flying Training School, where thousands of pilots who served the Commonwealth earned their wings. The Harvard Memorial
