Darwin loves a market, and this one is about a 15minute walk away! Saturday mornings the Parap Village shops (worth a visit anyway) become a bustling market with fresh fruit and veg, delicious food options with a strong Asian influence - yes the famous Mary's Laksa is here, but there is plenty of other options too. Local crafts, homewares and clothing or you can even get a massage! Coffee and cold drinks, flowers and plants, or just go and people watch! This is a favourite with locals as well as visitors! If you aren't keen on the walk, be warned the parking is a challenge and you will likely have to walk at least a block, unless you get lucky and nab a 'rockstar park'!

Amazing market - every Saturday until 2pm. Mary's laksas are a stand-out and are a local favourite. Just be prepared to wait in line! (We recommend the chicken and pumpkin laksa!)
