The Detroit People Mover (DPM) is an elevated rail system that operates on a single-track loop in Detroit’s central business district. There are 13 passenger stops--I've chosen the Grand Circus stop simply as a way to list this must see --another of my top 10 un-touristy things to do in Detroit. OF SPECIAL NOTE: The Art in The Stations has won numerous awards for outstanding public art. I recommend you "do the loop" and view the art at each of the 13 stations. As an extra added bonus, the ride provides lovely views of the city.
