Wong Mei Kee Pudu 王美记 (also known as Wong Kee or Wong Meng Kee) serves one of the best roast pork aka siew yoke (燒肉) in KL. People flock to this place during lunch hour just to savour beautiful cuts of siew yuk, despite the bad traffic in Pudu. Wong Meng Kee opens only at 12.30PM sharp, food usually sold off by 3PM. Full house is expected around 12PM, queue for take away starts to build up. And you have to wait. They literally don’t bother on pre-order. If you are in the take away line, be patient, because they will serve sit down customers first once the clock strikes 12.30 noon
