A must do! The manta rays are huge! They swim up to you ...and roll back. Wear a wet suit (usually provided) You basically snorkel at night with these amazing, large creatures. This is for sure a bucket list experience!!

One of the greatest adventures available is the opportunity to either dive or snorkel with manta rays at night. We have not heard a single negative review of this experience.

Absolutely a MUST DO when visiting Kailua-Kona! Imagine dipping into the water with blue lights illuminating the ocean floor while gentle giants glide and barrel rolling pass you. It's incredible and the access is easy. There are many charters to choose from, but if you want the best deals check out Groupon. Spots are limited so make sure there is availability for nights that you are here.

Some call this a "spiritual" experience....swimming with the mantas at night with other divers and snorkelers. All the guide boats offer a beautiful experience. I've gone with Neptune Charlie's and had a great time with my family.
