Steele's dive is my personal local favorite. This dive bar is run by my personal friend and Tupelo local, Jason. The food and atmosphere here are unmatched anywhere in Tupelo. The large bar in the back serves up some of the best drinks, and there is usually a local band playing depending on the day of the week. Try some fried Oysters or the whiskey ribeye.

“American & Southern eats, plus drink specials, in a big, woodsy locale with nightly live music.” This restaurant is probably the closest one to the Airport. They call themselves “Tupelo’s Back Porch” as it has a huge covered patio in the back where live music is played. For lunch they serve a meat and vegetable plate, where you line up and tell the worker what you want and they serve it up right there on the plate- so it’s a fast lunch place! You can also order off the menu. My husband loves this place for dinner too!
