If you find yourself in the Marigny, our all-time favorite is Flora Gallery & Coffee Shop (2600 Royal Street), although it’s hardly worth it to go across town just for coffee.

delicious breakfast & lunch. coffee until 12am. heart of the neighborhood. flavorful & happening local hangout. gorgeous setting. computer rental time; wifi. inside & outside dining. outstanding local staff. a must.

Flora Gallery and Coffee Shop is one of my favorite stops before car touring the Marigny/Bywater murals. The space hosts local works of art and is excellent people watching. It's across the street from Mimi's should your party have a split decision of drinks or no drinks.
