Dakshin, Yaesu Branch

This is a cute place that specializes in South Indian cuisine. For lunch, I love what they call “lunch meals”—you choose vegetarian or non-vegetarian, and they bring out a selection of curry, naan, poori, and dosa on a silver tray. If you get a curry with too much spice, order some yogurt on the side to tone it down. The restaurant is lodged right in the center of a very busy commercial district, so expect them to be very crowded during weekday lunches. Go a little before—or a little after—the lunch rush if possible.
