Shhh. Don't tell anyone about "La Tama". Absolute best sea glass hunting. Smallest crowds. Locals mostly. This is a wild beach, so don't expect it to be groomed.

There are superb sandy beaches stretching from Sete to Valras Plage, south of Beziers. We particularly like La Tamarissiere, a long sandy beach backing on to a pine forest with a wide canal at one end that can be crossed on a tiny ferry (60 mins drive from house).
