A 70+ meter tall monument of the protecting 'Mother Motherland', holding up a sword and a shield in each hand. There's an observation deck atop her shield, too, with another great view of the river.

The sculpture is 102 meters hight, it is a part of the Museum of The History of Ukraine in World War II. On sunny days you will be allowed to climb to its shield (91 meters) where you can find an unforgettable view of Kyiv | en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Motherland_Monument
