At the base of the mountain, by the entry gate to Mt Buller, is the Mirimbah Park, it’s 15km back down the mountain. It’s conveniently at the end of the Delatite Mountain Bike Trail. If you’ve got any Mountain Bikers in your party, it’s a nice way to end the day, there are free barbeques down there also, and proper toilers. The Delatite River is shallow, and very safe for kids. There’s a ton of grass down there, so please feel free to take anything from the hallway out for a spin – there’s chairs, a cricket set, swing ball, frisbee etc. 6 chairs are in the drying cupboard. There are 3 extras on the top of the wardrobe in the 2nd Bedroom.

Mirimbah Pool is a person made treat, that is spectacular all year round & great for a dip in Sunmmer. Across the road you will also find a great picnic area plus a play ground for children. Only 1.6km from The Mills Rest.

For an afternoon well spent, take a 20 min drive to Mirimbah Park. The park is bordered by the shallow flowing waters of Delatite River. We love splashing amongst the rock pools in the river. An idyllic place to cool off after a warm day.
