Frida's Field has quickly become one of our favourite restaurants to visit. Set on a beautiful farm in Nashua, the menu at Frida's Field showcases fresh, in season produce from their property and other local producers. They offer a long lunch set menu, which changes every 6-8 weeks. So, have a look at their website to see if it takes your fancy (omniverous and vegetarian options available). They also sell some of their amazing pickles and preserves if you want to take something home for a picnic at your accommodation! Frida's Field is a 1 hour drive from our property.

if you're a foodie...must go restaurant 30 min drive from Suffolk Park in the Byron Hinterland. Lovely drive up there through the lush green hills. Open Saturdays and Sundays for long luxurious lunches. Fabulous seasonal menus! Autumn menu to die for! $97 pp gustation. Bookings only: fridasfield.com Open Friday and Monday of Easter also

Frida’s Field. Tucked inside the quaint pocket of Nashua in the Byron hinterland, right near Bangalow, Frida’s Field is a joint project between the Rawlings family and Icebergs Group alumni Daniel Medcalf. Housed in a rustic-chic wooden barn overlooking rolling green hills and picturesque woodland, Frida’s Field has been carefully designed to showcase the incredible produce grown on the working cattle farm and sourced from the Northern Rivers surrounds. The menu is contemporary country in style, featuring sustainable produce such as Wagyu-Angus beef taken from the Rawlings’ farm, and fruit and vegies from their adjoining garden and nearby orchards. The focus on local and sustainable is paramount to the owners of the farm, Edward and Jeanie Rawlings, who together with their three children are champions of a home grown food philosophy.
