The benefits of contrast therapy is well known, the old mine hole now known as Brissies lake is home to the newly built and unique floating sauna, have a dip in the cold water when you get too hot in the sauna, its invigorating and also provides the body the perfect preparation for a restful sleep.

This new tourist attraction is fantastic. It is well worth a visit but a booking is necessary.

Opened in July 2020, and a first in Australia, this exhilarating experience is well worth a visit on your way to the East Coast. Enjoy a one hour sauna with regular plunges into the lake to invigorate body, mind and spirit.
