Just off the island, a 1 mile out and back steep hike overlooking the bridge. Great spot to sit with a bottle of wine and a cheese plate. Views of the bridge and Penobscot Bay

The Blue Dot Trail (Lookout Rock) 🐾 This is the original trail from Herrick Road to Lookout Rock. It is well marked with blue dots. Instead of accessing it from Herrick Road we suggest you take the Yellow Dot Trail from the gravel Oakland House Road opposite Grindstone Cottage.
