In 1922, the attention of petroleum research specialists was drawn to the region of Arcachon by the discovery of hydrocarbon gases. Louis Le Marié was dispatched there to undertake a survey in August 1923. At 321.40m, he updated an important spurt of mineral water and thermal at 25 degrees. Cette source a été découverte, lors d'un forage en 1923, une eau chaude et sulfureuse a jaillit ! Cette eau zéro nitrate est reconnue naturellement pure, on y fait des dégustations en saison. Le kiosque est superbe.
