This is the place to impress. Opened by acclaimed Chinese-American chef Brandon Jew in Chinatown, this one-Michelin-starred restaurant is the place to celebrate a special occasion. The Cantonese influenced menu uses produce from local farms. Even the cocktails are seasonal! There aren’t nearly enough fine dining places in San Francisco for a vegan to go all out and get both great food and drinks, but this is a happy exception. The menu changes seasonally, so just ask your server for the vegan options.

The best Chinese food is in the Richmond District and suburbs. But if you must eat in Chinatown, Mr Jiu's is your best bet.

One Michelin Star Chinese Restaurant in SF area. We tried it. The menu is quite interesting.
