Stunning Dartmoor Tor that's easily accessible with a small car park right next to it. Ponies will sometimes be here. Great place for a picnic with a view and for photographing at sunset. If you visit in the day and want a walk, you can explore the tor before walking down towards the West Dart River to where a sweet picnic spot opens out and there are large rock stepping stones across the river. Good spot for paddling with kids. (See the screenshot of the map and then use the OS Dartmoor map for footpaths from Combestone Tor to the stepping stones).
