Beautiful area in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Stay to the left and the trail brings you to one of the most beautiful and usable river spots you’ll ever hike to. It is a WMA so you need fishing, hunting, or day use pass: 626 Newberry Dr, Ellijay, GA 30536

Georgia DNR-managed trail for hiking and mountain biking. This is a beautiful loop 3 or 6-mile loop trail that takes you by the Cartecay River. Just note - hiking and mountain biking are only allowed from 10AM-dark.
