This farmers’ market is located at Granger Bay at the V&A Waterfront, and runs every Saturday and Sunday morning – and Wednesday evenings (from 3 November 2021 till end-March 2022). Boasting stunning sea views, the market is covered by tents and pergolas, ensuring shelter from the elements. You’ll find fresh-from-the-patch veggies and herbs – it’s worth doing your weekly grocery shop here – as well as seasonal fruit, bread, cheese, organic dairy products, free-range eggs, raw honey, muesli, and ethically sourced meats and seafood. There is also a lifestyle section, selling an array of carefully curated clothing, décor, ceramics, vintage items, pet accessories, houseplants and farm-to-vase flowers. And if you’re here to eat (and not to stock up your fridge, pantry or wardrobe), there is a wonderful mix of food stalls selling cooked and raw dishes for all palates and preferences – from carnivores and chocoholics to vegans and diabetics. So, grab a seat at one of the outdoor tables and soak up the scene.
