This place is the reason people are tight lipped about their swimming holes in the Catskills. In any case it’s a beautiful drive, and still a great spot to check out parking is limited and you need a 10$ permit 7 days a week May-September from Reserve America .

Take a dip in a swimming hole—like Peekamoose Blue Hole. Just note that you’ll need a day permit if you visit from mid-May to mid-October.
