Contact the visitor centre for viewing times. They only come in at dusk to nest for the night, so timings vary each season.

Fascinating to watch the little blue penguins return home from sea to their nest boxes. They come ashore at dusk. I recommend making a booking online if you are visiting in the summer months as it gets very busy and seats are limited.

A great spot to see the penguins come in each evening. There is a fee to enter but you do get up close to them and it is great to watch. For another (Free) option you can check out the South Hill Walk and watch penguins and seals from the clifftop lookout.
