This period hotel has two restaurants, both good. You can order from both menus in either restaurant. The upstairs restaurant is more formal and has a great Sunday brunch. The downstairs restaurant, Seven Stone Steps, is more casual and has a bar. We prefer the SSS downstairs but we like them both. 4 Stars

This place has a great brunch, but we normally head downstairs to the 'Seven Stone Steps' for drinks and a great casual dinner. Popovers are their specialty and come with your meal. We would recommend the fish and the burgers, but everything is good. We also enjoy the soups! Located in Cazenovia, this is more of a destination. We love the cute town, with a nice famers market on Saturday mornings, a beautiful lake, a winery, and lot of quaint shoppes.

This historic hotel and restaurant is in the center of Cazenovia, has main level and lower level, with bar,(Seven Stone Steps). Menus are near same, less formal at "Steps".

This is the first of several spots in Caz (as the locals call it) that we like. Slightly upscale, very delicious!
