Lake Lansing Park South is about 20 from us. It is a good sized all sport lake with a public beach on the west side and boat launch on the north side. You can rent paddle boats, swim, there is a nice play area for kids.

Great family park to visit. Friday night bands play in bandshell...no charge. Swimming beach with life guard. Concessions stands & restrooms. Outdoor grills, tables and covered buildings. Kids area to play.

Beach, swimming area, grassy sunbathing, summer concessions, paddle boats & Swan boat rental, huge playground, Music in the Park on Fridays, 7pm in summer. Nearby restaurants and convenience store.

It's close, it's got local history and there's lots to do there.
